  • 278 Social Studies Graduation Essay & Oratorical Awards  Thanks to the generosity of Central alumni, there are essay contests and oratorical contests available for Social Studies graduation awards. See instructions in your email and on the Social Studies Department website. The deadline for written essays is March 31st. T. Quinn (3/29)
  • The deadline to submit an application for AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, Honors Forensic Science, and Honors Astronomy has been extended to Friday, March 29, 2019. Even if you signed up for one of these courses when you selected courses for next year, you still must complete an online application.  Visit the Science Department page on Centralhigh.net for links to the applications.   • Central’s fourth annual Central-THON takes place on April 4th from 12-4 in the wrestling gym and will feature prizes, raffles, games, and performances. This dance marathon benefits the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as well as our partner schools in the Dominican Republic.
