► DISCOUNT DORNEY PARK TICKETS! – The RoboLancers have launched their annual Dorney Park ticket sale. The tickets are $35 and grant admission to BOTH Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom on ANY SINGLE DAY during the 2018 season. These tickets are steeply discounted from the $59 gate price! Purchase from Mr. Johnson in room 85 or Ms. Bonner in room 83 by May 23rd. Tickets will be delivered in advisory by June 6th — just in time for senior prom weekend. In recent years, heading to Dorney Park with a group of friends has been a popular post-prom event for Central seniors.  –M. Johnson

► What do we do after final exams at Central? We have some fun! We’ll hold the CENTRAL SYMPOSIUM on June 8th and 11th this year. These are a variety fun and engaging workshops and presentations offered by staff and students after exams. These can be about your hobbies, sports, art, games, community service, a preview of a class for next year, a kickstart for summer assignments, or just about anything else that you or someone else may find interesting. On these days, please place your recycling bin outside the classroom if leaving the door unlocked is a problem! ► THE FUTURE LATINO LEADERS LAW CAMP HOSTED BY THE HISPANIC NATIONAL BAR FOUNDATION provides Latino high school students from across the country the opportunity to learn more about the legal profession through a nine-day all expenses paid summer enrichment program in Washington, DC. It will be held from July 7-15, 2018.   In order to apply and participate, you must meet the following requirements –  Be a high school student in good standing currently enrolled as a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior – Have an interest in learning about law school and entering the legal profession (the student will provide details on this in their essay responses) – Be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or have other valid immigration authorization, and MUST have government-issued identification; and – Have a demonstrated interest in helping your community and building your leadership skills.
