Subject Selection is the process students go through each year to pick classes. The Roster Office oversees the process. Each year, the process begins in February.
Course Selection and Timeline
- Late January: Roster Office posts Subject Selection information (“how to” presentation, subject selection guide etc.) on all CHS class Google Classrooms.
- Early February: 9th, 10th and 11th Grade Virtual Assemblies
Mid-February
- Students select classes via the Student Portal on Infinite Campus
- Roster Office hosts virtual drop-ins during advisory
Late-February
- The Roster Office will be available from after school to answer Subject Selection questions.
Graduation Requirements
Credits required for grade promotion:
- 10th grade—5 credits
- 11th grade—11 credits
- 12th grade—17.5 credits
- Graduation—23.5 credits
