Student Association Officer Elections for 2018

  • [3/23/18] – Notification of Eligibility to Run
  • [4/3/18] – Copy of Video Speech is Due
  • [4/4/18 – 4/10/18] – Speeches available to view online
  • [4/10/18] – Elections

Requirements for Student Association Presidential candidacy:

  1. Be a Junior at C.H.S.
  2. Maintain an un-weighted academic average of 3.0
  3. Currently on track to receive Barnwell Honors for the 2016-2017 school year (see handbook for details)
  4. Have held an office or position of responsibility in a school club or organization, and have discharged the duties faithfully and well
  5. Have no more than 5 incidents of absence and/or 5 latenesses
  6. Have exceptional communication skills
  7. Must have academic and social privileges and good classroom behavior and attendance
  8. May not hold any of the following positions while serving as Senior Class President: Editor-in-Chief of yearbook, Centralizer, Mirror; Captain of Stage Crew; Concert Master/Mistress of Orchestra/Band

Requirements for Student Association Vice-Presidential candidacy:

  1. Be a Junior, Sophomore, or Freshman at C.H.S.
  2. Maintain an un-weighted academic average of 3.0
  3. Currently on track to receive Barnwell Honors for the 2016-2017 school year (see handbook for details)
  4. Have no more than 5 incidents of absence and/or 5 latenesses
  5. Have exceptional communication skills
  6. Must have academic and social privileges and good classroom behavior and attendance
  7. May not hold any of the following positions while serving as Senior Class Vice President: Editor-in-Chief of yearbook, Centralizer, Mirror; Captain of Stage Crew; Concert Master/Mistress of Orchestra/Band

Requirements for Student Association Secretarial or Treasurer candidacy:

  1. Be a Junior, Sophomore, or Freshman at C.H.S.
  2. Maintain an un-weighted academic average of 2.5
  3. Have no more than 5 incidents of absence and/or 5 latenesses
  4. Have exceptional communication skills
  5. Must have academic and social privileges and good classroom behavior and attendance
  6. May not hold any of the following positions while serving as Senior Class Secretary and/or Treasurer: Editor-in-Chief of yearbook, Centralizer, Mirror; Captain of Stage Crew; Concert Master/Mistress of Orchestra/Band
