[4/3/18] – Copy of Video Speech is Due

[4/4/18 – 4/10/18] – Speeches available to view online

Requirements for Junior Class Presidential candidacy:

  • Be a Sophomore at C.H.S.
  • Maintain an un-weighted academic average of 3.0
  • Currently on track to receive Barnwell Honors for the 2017-2018 school year (see handbook for details)
  • Have held an office or position of responsibility in a school club or organization, and have discharged the duties faithfully and well
  • Have no more than 5 incidents of absence and/or 5 latenesses
  • Have exceptional communication skills
  • Must have academic & social privileges, good classroom behavior and attendance and uphold the Academic Integrity Policy
  • May not hold any of the following positions while serving as Junior Class President: Editor-in-Chief of yearbook, Centralizer, Mirror; Captain of Stage Crew; Concert Master/Mistress of Orchestra/Band

  • Must have academic & social privileges, good classroom behavior and attendance and uphold the Academic Integrity Policy
  • May not hold any of the following positions while serving as Junior Class Secretary and/or Treasurer: Editor-in-Chief of yearbook, Centralizer, Mirror; Captain of Stage Crew; Concert Master/Mistress of Orchestra/Band
